By far one of my favorite dips. To be honest I try and stay away from it because of it’s “intense” calorie load. But now I don’t have to. Thanks to Tessa. One of the quintessential holiday appys made healthier. Thanks Tessa!
Cranberry Spinach Salad with a Cranberry Vinaigrette
Who said the holidays have to be a time when we all put on 5 pounds? Look at this beautiful salad loaded with nutritious ingredients. Why not have a salad for dinner or lunch to lighten up the load of all those rich holidays feasts? Don’t you just feel healthier just looking at it? What’s your favorite holiday salad?
I just love this! We often have quinoa cooked and ready to go in the fridge for fast breakfasts and dinners. I just can’t wait to try this out as soon as I get some sweet potatoes! Doesn’t this just look like the perfect comfort food, perfect for a dark, cold and stormy night?
It wouldn’t be right if I didn’t share some holiday treats. After all it is the season of indulgence. But why not treat yourself to something healthy and sweet. These grain free, dairy free, raw and vegan figgy bites are perfect for the holidays, no matter who’s on your guest list! I’m sure this would work with dates too.
Salted Quinoa Chocolate Bark With Pistachios
I can’t resist salted sweets. They are the perfect combination. Then she went and added popped quinoa and pistachios…swoon. Since the holidays couldn’t be complete without a little chocolate, I think a little “bark” is in order!
Keep It Real Thursday

3. If you’re sharing recipes, the ingredient list must be comprised of real food only, that means non-processed food items. That being said, we are all in different places on our real food journey, some more advanced than others. I invite all of you to share, no matter where you are on your journey, but I ask you to stay mindful when sharing your recipes that this is a whole (real) food blog. This means, no ingredient lists that include edible oil products (velveeta, frozen whip topping), protein powders, ketchup, white flour, margarine or white and brown sugar.
4. Less of a rule but more a suggestion: Retweet, Stumble, or Pin this post so EVERYONE gets more exposure and traffic. It’s win-win for everyone.
Don’t have a blog? That’s ok, we’d still love to hear from you. Write your recipes or tips in the comment section so we can get to know you too!
Now it’s your turn to share your whole food recipes and ideas!
I’m sharing this with Mangia Monday, Monday Mania & My Meatless Monday.
