I love simple! A few ingredients and an outstanding taste, what more can you ask for in a recipe?

The first time I tried this dip (my friend made some for our camping trip) I was smitten. When I asked for the recipe, she said there really wasn’t one. It was a few ingredients mixed together and it took less than 5 minutes to make. I was floored.

“Really?” I said. I couldn’t believe the simplicity and the taste!

So what better time to introduce this lovely dip now, since  entertaining is at it’s peek during the holidays. Take those expensive store bought dips out of your shopping cart and save yourself some money while feeling good that you’re not serving up any preservative, chemicals or “natural flavors” in your dip.

In today’s video, I’m also sharing my favorite entertaining tip for serving veggies and dip and why. I’ll also be sharing a great addition to this dip next week to create a completely different appy, using this dip as the core ingredient.


Homemade 5 Minute Dill Dip

  • 1 cup full fat sour cream
  • 1/4 cup chopped fresh dill (fresh dill really makes the difference here)
  • juice of 1/2 a lemon
  • 1 green onion finely chopped
  • 1 garlic clove minced
  • salt and pepper to taste

Mix the ingredients together and season with salt and pepper to taste.
