I know some of you will think this upcoming episode to be a little silly, but what can I say… it works! This hand moisturizing technique does involve a pair of socks, but you’ll just have to trust me.
Like the oil pulling episode we did, you might feel a little weird while you’re doing it, but it works. And after all, isn’t that the point, solutions that work?
This little trick is one we keep coming back to when our hands are a little worse for wear. Joshua (the hubby) loves to ski. As a result his hands gets so chapped from being in the cold and wet weather, that they crack and bleed. It’s a little icky, but this trick works. He does it a few times over a period of a few days and his hands start to look and feel better and heal naturally.
I personally use it for my cuticles and nail. When my cuticles get dry and break and get painful, this trick works magic. Of course if I simply did it once a week, it would be a great preventive measure, but I tend to wait until I’m in pain to do something about it…pretty typical for most of us I think.
